Physical Education

Physical Education is the study and practice of the science and art of human movement.  It is an integral and essential component of a comprehensive education. Physical education contributes to the development of the whole person through physical activity that allows for the integration of the psychomotor and affective learning skills.

The end result of a well-balanced physical education program is young men and women who have attained maximum motor development, utilize movement as a satisfying means of expression and self-realization, maintain a high level of fitness and wellness, attain desirable social growth and interaction, and realize acquired movement skills in worthwhile leisure and recreational activities as well as everyday living.
