PSATs, SATs, ACTs

"UC will NOT consider SAT or ACT test scores when making admissions decisions or awarding scholarships. If you choose to submit test scores as part of your application, they may be used as an alternative method of fulfilling minimum requirements for eligibility or for course placement after you enroll." - University of California, Admissions Office

PSATs @ WHS

Taking the PSATs are a great opportunity for Sophomores and Juniors attending a university after high school to get a sense of what to expect in the SATs.

What to Bring:                  

  • Photo ID--Required to be admitted
  • Several #2 pencils with erasers
  • Four-function scientific or graphing calculator

SOPHOMORES
All sophomores will be registered to take the test. Costs are covered by FUSD.

JUNIORS 
Juniors are not required to take the PSATs. However, juniors who are interested in taking the PSATs and/or want to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship:

1. See the Account Clerk in the office for registration
2. Checks payable to Washington High School ($40)

RESULTS
PSAT results will be available under your College Board account by mid-December.
